Justice in America

So I have avoided writing about this topic since it so infuriating. To help some White folks empathize, this is equivalent to the OJ Simpson verdict, but in my eyes, much worse. I can't reconcile in my mind, how this scenario could be determined to be self defense. It's crazy enough that he got away with murder, but not even a weapons charge. This would be a very different outcome for a Black man/kid in the same situation. I'll just leave it there!
